You have been hearing about real estate as being the investment to pursue if you’re looking to build your assets. It’s claimed to be a moneymaking vehicle that will work for you. Investment gurus Warren Buffet and Robert Kiyosaki both highlight real estate as the “must-have” asset in your portfolio. Bloomberg released an article this February 2014 stating, “U.S. millionaires see real estate as the top alternative-asset class to own this year.” It’s a tactic the wealthy are already engaging in, and prospering from – and there is still room for the average investor. Yes, there are opportunities in this market that won’t require a down payment the size of your savings, and will earn you a nice return. And if done with the proper due diligence, it can become one of your most profitable and rewarding investments yet. Keep reading to learn more.

Many wise folks who are looking for real diversification have already begun to invest in international real estate. Not only is it one of the two-non reportable assets for American citizens, but also it’s a tangible, hard asset — one that you can physically touch, see, and occupy. Depending on what you’re looking for, it can be your second home, cash-flow rental unit, or simply serve as a getaway for when you need to unplug from your home country. That’s the beauty of real estate – it can serve whatever purpose you would like for it to serve.

The real key to profit from real estate is (and you’ve heard it before) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You need to enter the right market at the right time. But more often than not, by the time we hear about an opportunity, it’s too late. Real estate prices are already peaking, and the entry-cost into the market far exceeds the initial prices prior to the big boom. Maybe you’ll strike a great deal somewhere along the lines, but for many of us, the window of entry has come and passed.

What you need is to hear about the opportunities before everyone else does and then execute your strategy. And how do you do that? Continue reading and I’ll tell you about a prime, still undiscovered (but not for long) market out there.

When you think of top Caribbean beach destinations with crystal-azure waters, sandy beaches, and colorful tropical fish, Aruba, Turks and Caicos, the Virgin Islands and others probably come to mind. What also comes to mind is big $$$$ for beachfront or close to beach real estate.

But I’m going to let you in on a little-known secret. There IS still affordable real estate in the Caribbean. And it can be found on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Just starting to gain the spotlight, this island is already being noted in top publications including Islands Magazine, New York Times, Trip Advisor as THE place to be – whether looking for a vacation, investment property, or looking to relocate. It’s a hidden gem that is affordable today, but tomorrow may not be.

Hear me out. With experience in running a beachfront resort on this island for close to two decades now and closely watching the trend, it is obvious that this market is about to explode. Really, it is. More and more people are becoming familiar with Ambergris Caye, and want to discover real island living for themselves. Who can blame them? With world-ranked diving and snorkeling, nightly entertainment, and a “no shirt, no shoes, no problem” attitude, it’s no surprise that many are flocking to Belize to kick back, relax, and enjoy life.

Visiting, owning, or relocating to Ambergris Caye, Belize is a no-brainer for many. In addition to the island’s palm-tree lined beaches and eternal summer temperatures, this island offers benefits unparalleled elsewhere:

  • Within close proximity from North America (~200 miles south of Cancun)
  • Latin American affordability but officially English speaking country
  • Banking and financial advantages

And much more.

This trend is not speculation, this is happening. Right now.
