About Me
Since leaving the snowy winters of Michigan behind, Gail Geerling has spent the last 20 years living and working in Central America. She won’t hesitate to tell you that her hands-down favorite- and the place she calls ‘home’- is Nicaragua. Gail specializes in as a Nicaragua real estate buyer’s agent.
Gail realized early on that navigating cultural differences was the key to success in Nicaragua. The legal system is different, the property purchase system is different, and the language is different.
Fully bi-lingual in English and Spanish, she understands that purchasing property in a foreign country may be a little intimidating, and is known for holding her buyers’ hands through every step of the transaction until, as Gail says, “the keys are in your hand and the title deed is in your safe!”
Apart from understanding how to navigate the cultural gap, professionalism and ethics are critical components when choosing who will represent you in a foreign country. Currently a member of the National Association of REALTORS® in the US, the National Developers Association of Nicaragua (ANID) and the Nicaraguan Real Estate Association (CNCBR), Gail strongly believes in ongoing education and most importantly, educating her clients.
