For decades, the formula for retirement was simple: work hard, save diligently, and ride out your golden Each year, Presidents Week brings together an extraordinary group of internationally minded investors, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who refuse to stand still in an unpredictable world.

It’s where strategy meets foresight—a private five-day forum that blends intelligent conversation, real-world expertise, and the quiet confidence of those shaping the future of global wealth and security.

Hosted by Joel Nagel, international attorney, investor, and long-time advocate for financial sovereignty, the 29th Annual Presidents Week Conference will take place Saturday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Amrit Ocean Resort & Wellness Spa on Singer Island, Florida.

Over nearly three decades, Presidents Week has evolved into something far greater than a conference. It’s a trusted circle—a gathering that combines pragmatic insight with the deeper questions of what it means to protect, grow, and pass on wealth in a shifting world.

Why Presidents Week Matters

In an era defined by volatility, Presidents Week offers rare clarity. The discussions held within its rooms are not about speculation or hype; they’re about positioning—understanding where the world is headed and how to meet it from a place of strength.

Each year, attendees arrive from across the globe—investors managing multi-jurisdictional portfolios, entrepreneurs expanding internationally, and families working to safeguard intergenerational wealth. They come not simply to learn, but to connect, to refine strategy, and to leave with a clearer framework for global resilience.

At the heart of Presidents Week lies one unchanging principle: freedom through preparation. Whether that means restructuring assets for tax efficiency, establishing second residencies, or exploring offshore opportunities, the goal is the same—to design systems that preserve autonomy in an increasingly regulated world.

The Vision of Joel Nagel

Few figures embody the philosophy behind Presidents Week more fully than Joel Nagel. As founder of Nagel & Associates, Joel has spent decades advising individuals and institutions on international business, asset protection, and cross-border tax and estate planning with the firm standing as a vanguard in international business law with over two decades of expertise.

Under his direction, Presidents Week has remained intimate by design. Attendance is limited, ensuring each participant gains genuine access to the speakers and specialists shaping today’s wealth-protection landscape. This focus on quality over scale has made it one of the longest-running and most respected gatherings of its kind anywhere in the world.

Inside the Experience

Presidents Week is defined as much by its setting as its substance. The Amrit Ocean Resort & Wellness Spa on Singer Island provides a calm, immersive environment for reflection and exchange—sunlight, sea air, and space to think. Days are spent in focused sessions and private meetings; evenings unfold in relaxed conversations that often prove the most valuable of all.

The week’s format encourages collaboration. Formal presentations are interspersed with round-table discussions, private consultations, and spontaneous dialogues that spill over coffee or dinner. Many attendees describe it as a masterclass in global strategy wrapped inside a retreat—equal parts education and recalibration.

There are no wasted words, no crowds, and no distractions. Instead, Presidents Week creates what so many investors seek and rarely find: uninterrupted time with people who understand the language of sovereignty, opportunity, and intelligent risk.

What Attendees Gain

Presidents Week delivers tangible results. The content evolves each year to address the most urgent topics facing globally mobile investors and entrepreneurs, including:

  • Adapting to evolving tax and estate-planning frameworks. Understanding the latest cross-border changes and how to remain both compliant and competitive.
  • Structuring offshore assets and businesses for long-term efficiency. How to align legal entities, trusts, and banking relationships across jurisdictions.
  • Exploring second residency and citizenship solutions. Practical approaches for greater mobility, protection, and access.
  • Building resilient portfolios. Strategies that withstand political, currency, and market shocks.
  • Integrating wellness and purpose into legacy planning. Recognizing that true wealth extends beyond balance sheets.

While the themes may shift with the times, the outcome remains consistent: participants leave equipped with knowledge they can apply immediately—frameworks that turn uncertainty into opportunity.

A Community of Builders

Over the years, Presidents Week has fostered a community unlike any other—one bound not by geography, but by outlook. Attendees often describe the week as both an education and a reunion: a meeting of people who see the world through a similar lens, who value independence, foresight, and quiet achievement.

Relationships formed here have led to long-term partnerships, joint ventures, and lifelong friendships. There is an unspoken understanding that the work done during these five days continues long after the conference ends. In that sense, Presidents Week functions less as an event and more as a catalyst—a yearly checkpoint for those navigating the complexities of global life.

The Setting: Singer Island, Florida

Just north of Palm Beach, Singer Island is a place where perspective widens. The ocean becomes a constant reminder of movement and possibility—fitting for a conference devoted to global thinking. The Amrit Resort offers the quiet required for deep focus and the amenities that allow conversation to flow naturally: expansive terraces, calm meeting spaces, and the kind of privacy that encourages candor.

Presidents Week has long balanced business with reflection, understanding that strategic clarity often comes when the mind is at ease. The setting reinforces that rhythm—rigorous by day, restorative by night.

Meaningful connections are forged in the quiet moments between sessions—where insight meets opportunity.

Why It Matters Now

The world is not slowing down. Tax codes are tightening, governments are expanding oversight, and global mobility is being redefined. For those with assets, responsibilities, or aspirations that cross borders, waiting for stability is no longer a strategy.

Presidents Week stands as an antidote to uncertainty. It offers not promises but precision—a rare chance to engage directly with the minds who anticipate change before it happens. In an era when information is abundant but wisdom scarce, that access is invaluable.

For members of the Escape Artist community—people who live internationally, invest globally, and think generationally—Presidents Week represents the natural next step. It’s where ideas find context and strategy becomes execution.

How to Attend

To inquire about participation or confirm eligibility, please contact mary.alderson@nagellaw.com or isha@escapeartist.com. Space is limited and every participant is carefully vetted to ensure the integrity and focus of the experience remain unmatched.

Looking Ahead

Presidents Week is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a marker of intent. To attend is to acknowledge that wealth, like freedom, demands stewardship. It’s a week that invites you to lift your gaze beyond headlines and make decisions rooted in clarity, not fear.
