Protect Your Cash in Any Country: Moneycorp Can Help

Every year, the world grows smaller and smaller. Technology has turned what once was a months-long journey into a quick transatlantic flight. Messages that used to require a written letter carried on ships can now be conveyed across the globe at the push of a button. Business can now be done instantaneously in all continents at the same time, without any traveling.

While this has opened incredible doors for people and companies to expand and diversify their finances internationally, it has also created many avenues for missteps and errors in execution. However, with international money transfer services, such as Moneycorp, you can rest assured that your overseas transactions are in safe hands.

Why Should You Trust Moneycorp?

Building a revered reputation for over 30 years in the UK, Europe, and North America, Moneycorp is the safest and most cost-effective way to transfer money between different countries and different currencies. A Licensed Money Service Business with HM Revenue and Customs, and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Moneycorp is legally required to safeguard clients’ funds.

Though based in the UK, Moneycorp is authorized for business in the U.S. through Tempus, a licensed money transmitter in Washington, D.C. Tempus is registered with the U.S. Department of Treasury as a Money Service Business (MSB) and is overseen by the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

Anyone looking to set up a business overseas, pay foreign employees, hold accounts in different currencies, or purchase real estate abroad should make sure and consult a money transfer service like Moneycorp before they pull the trigger on a transaction.

How Can Moneycorp Help?

Moneycorp offers a range of services that can help you save money and time on your overseas transfers. This will allow you to tailor a plan for your transfers that capitalize on the exchange rate fluctuations. Never get caught on the wrong end of the market again:

  1. Forward Contracts: This service allows you to actually lock in a beneficial exchange rate for future transfers. If you find the market to be in a satisfactory place for your transfer, you can claim that specific exchange rate for all transfers up to a year in the future.
  2. Limit Orders: This feature allows you to set a specific ideal exchange rate alert. As soon as the market reaches that rate, your transfer will automatically be processed at that price.
  3. Stop Loss: The stop loss service lets you set a minimum exchange rate that is acceptable for you transfer. This allows you to make a transfer as soon as possible, once the market climbs into a threshold you’re satisfied with.
  4. Spot Contract: A spot contract is useful when there is an expected drop coming in the market. With this feature, you can make sure that all your transfers process immediately at the current rate before fluctuation.

Compared to traditional banks, Moneycorp transfers are both cheaper and quicker. With the Standard Transfer, the transaction will be complete within 2-4 days, at a price of £4 ($5.35 USD) per online transfer. Express Transfers will process in under 2 days, at a price of £9 ($12.01 USD) per online transfer.

For those who intend on making frequent or sizable money transfers between currencies or countries, Moneycorp could end up saving you thousands of dollars a year. For example, “the recent climate in the Eurozone, defined by Greece’s economic woes, led to the euro falling to an 11-year low against the U.S. dollar. The euro slid from a high of $1.39 (USD) at the beginning of May 2014 to $1.10 (USD) at the beginning of March 2015 – meaning if you were sending money to America, you could have seen an extra $2,900 (USD) on a transfer of €10,000, if you had exchanged at the right time.” (Irish Times)

The Extra Mile

Moneycorp takes pride in its customer service. Every new member (regardless of whether they actually make a transfer) is Consumer Resource Guideassigned a personal account manager who can help assist you with one-off transfers, regular bill payments, or the development of a game plan based on your individual monetary needs and goals.

These account managers are experts in the field of international exchange, constantly monitoring the trends for key thresholds that work in your favor. All Moneycorp clients have access to 24/7 online services, making it easy to transfer money at any time, from anywhere in the world.

When it comes to safeguarding and protecting your money in the global marketplace, there is no better partner than Moneycorp. The professionals at Moneycorp will work with you directly to make sure you are always capitalizing on savings and making the right transfers at the right time.
