Some places in the world are simply beautiful. They look and feel like they have been made for falling in love. Being near the ocean, strolling down the beach while watching the sunsets, enjoying the palm trees and the nature surrounding you; all of these things can really spruce up your relationship. There are even some big cities around the world that offer amazing romantic retreats where you feel completely separated from the rest of the world and you get to enjoy your time with your loved one.

We did a bit of research and we’ve come up with this short guide for your perfect romantic getaway. If you really want to experience something unique and special with your loved one, you should definitely check out some of these locations. Whether you’re looking for a beautiful honeymoon location, or you simply want to relax with someone special, these locations could be the answer. So, let’s dive straight in.

Travel with Your Loved One:Bora Bora, French Polynesia

If the first things that come to your mind when someone says “romantic getaway” are crystal-clear water, white sand, coral reefs, and palm trees, then you should visit Bora Bora. With an abundance of beautiful sights all around, some unforgettable turquoise lagoons, and amazing accommodations, Bora Bora is one of the best locations in the world to take your loved one. If you’re looking for an active retreat, Bora Bora has a lot to offer. Hiking tours, scuba diving, and kayaking are just some of the things you can do. If you’re more into a peaceful and romantic getaway, Bora Bora offers some amazing secluded beaches and a variety of different locations where you and your partner can be completely on your own.

Sonoma, California

When it comes to unique natural beauty, combined with rustic appeal and great wine, Sonoma is the place to go. With incredibly delicious food and some of the world’s most awarded wineries and wine cellars, Sonoma is one of the best places to visit with a loved one in the western hemisphere. There are numerous amazing places you can stay, and some of them even offer exclusive tours of wineries which are closed to the general public. Sonoma is also home to a number of excellent chefs and their establishments. This means that you and your loved one can indulge yourself with no guilt at all, through the experience of a lifetime.

Bali, Indonesia

Travel with Your Loved One:Maybe you’re dreaming of an amazing wedding somewhere romantic and far away from everything. You already know the perfect theme for the wedding, but you’re not sure about the location. Let us help you with that. Bali is a beautiful island nicknamed the “Isle of the Gods”. It has some of the most beautiful mountain vistas and unforgettable temples, always surrounded by mist and fog. There are some mesmerizing resorts and accommodations all over the place, and it’s really up to you to pick and choose which one suits you and your loved one the most. From secluded bungalows to the five-star hotel resorts, Bali has a little bit of everything for everyone. Known for its effect on romantic couples, there are a lot of weddings in Bali. So, if you ever want to get married on an island that looks like it has come straight out of a fairytale, plan your trip and book local wedding planners in Bali. You will have an experience you will never forget.

Paris, France

This list wouldn’t be complete without the most romantic place on the planet – Paris. The capital of France has been known for its unique charm and appeal for centuries. Called the “City of Lights” and the “City of Love,” Paris has a virtually endless sea of experiences to offer for every couple in love. A home to countless amazing restaurants, wineries, and cafes, but also the city where some of the most amazing and most important art pieces are, everybody should visit Paris at least once in their lifetime. With amazing museums like The Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Palace de Versailles, and many others, and numerous resorts for all types of activities, it’s pretty clear why Paris is probably the best place for your romantic getaway.

Travel with Your Loved One:Wrapping it Up

When you’re trying to find the perfect location for your romantic holiday, the first step is to make sure both you and your partner are on the same page. Once you are, you can plan together and decide on the best choice. There are lots and lots of locations you could visit, depending on what you really want to do. We hope that the locations we’ve selected for you will make your destination-picking much easier. We know we’d love to experience them with a loved one in a heartbeat.
