It would take a pretty sophisticated search capacity to register all that. In addition, our current search engine is database driven, which means that we have to add all new content by hand every time we want to update the information in our search engine. As a result, it isn't a fuzzy search engine, and searches have to be very, very precise. What we've done is to set our search parameters with key words based on the subjects that are stored in our constantly growing database, particularly as regards new articles and resources. That means that to search with our search engine you have to enter specific subject, country or topic inquiries. For example, if you enter the words, "living in Belize," you'll get a dozen or so hits. If you enter "President of Belize," you won't get anything. That doesn't mean that you cannot determine who the president of Belize is via our website; to do so you would have had to enter the query, "embassies of Belize." Yes, it's pretty specific, but the alternative would have been to have a fuzzy search engine which would not have worked on our specific subject directory. The best results are found by entering single-word queries, such as Belize, or Jobs, or embassies, or something equally specific. We admit it isn't a very sophisticated search engine and we intend to add a new and better search engine that is a bit more sophisticated as soon as is possible. Also note that we have 6 unique search engines plus a number of Conversion Engines for expats. Of the search engines, 5 of our own development and one is an access portal to another database. So in addition to our regular motley Escape Artist search engine, we also have our very, very popular International Telephone & Country Code Look-Up Search Engine, our Embassies of the World Search Engine, our International Voltage Search Engine, a Maps of the World Search Engine and an access portal to the Visa Requirements Worldwide database - (currently offline.) We have a complete page on Expatriate search tools, well worth checking out, especially since that section has a list of our conversion engines that are excellent for expats and international travelers.
