Escape Artist is thrilled to announce our maiden internship program! This is an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to learn about the world of international business, investment, real estate, and travel while also gaining philosophical, theoretical, and practical insights into living free in an unfree world. At the same time, our internship program is expressly designed to develop some of the most in-demand skills, such as digital marketing, copywriting, and sales/marketing funnel design. Most importantly, at the end of the internship, we will evaluate high-performing interns for full-time employment opportunities with Escape Artist and our sister companies.
We are currently seeking five interns to work in areas that range from digital marketing, SEO, sales, writing, and publishing. The ideal candidate will be students and recent graduates with creative minds, who may have studied liberal arts, writing, and philosophy—though certainly not limited to those areas. Beyond this, we’re pursuing those who have a worldview and sense of life consistent with the mission and spirit of Escape Artist. Specifically, we love to work with people who care about individual liberty, free markets, and international peace. These values may be broadly considered libertarian, classical liberal, or pro-liberty.
While our internship is designed to help each intern develop skills, we do expect that candidates will have a cursory understanding of digital marketing. Additionally, we are seeking those who have writing experience and can provide a basic portfolio of writing examples. For our sales position, this is a role for an energetic go-getter who isn’t shy about doing daily outreach to potential B2B clients, partners, and stakeholders.
While the initial term of the internship will last 3-4 months, we’re especially excited to be able to offer high-performing interns the opportunity to live and work in Belize for an additional 3-month stint, starting in January 2021. During this period, Escape Artist will provide all accommodation, office space, and assistance in securing a 3-month tourist visa. Those who continue to deliver superior results after this period will be considered for full-time employment with Escape Artist or one of our sister companies.
Although the internship is unpaid, we will provide substantive daily skill training, weekly career mentorship, and access to premium offshore resources and materials, which are generally only available as costly items to Escape Artist’s clientele. Moreover, for those in the Pittsburgh area Escape Artist can provide office accommodations, whereas remote work is an option as well.
