{"id":38862,"date":"2013-08-11T05:13:05","date_gmt":"2013-08-11T09:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.escapeartist.com\/?p=38862"},"modified":"2020-08-11T05:17:52","modified_gmt":"2020-08-11T09:17:52","slug":"tourism-market-of-ecuador","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.escapeartist.com\/blog\/tourism-market-of-ecuador\/","title":{"rendered":"Tourism Market of Ecuador"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The Daily Brief &#8211; The Tourism Market of Ecuador<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cRuta del Sol\u201d directly translates to \u201cRoute of the Sun\u201d, a most apropos moniker, for a coastal stretch of highway that runs almost the full north-south length of the majestic coast of Ecuador. \u00a0Just a scant 6 years ago, this road was not available for the burgeoning tourism market\u00a0of Ecuador.\u00a0 Travel from beach to beach, along the gorgeous Pacific coast, once was a labor of love and angst.<\/p>\n<p>All that has changed now, as part of President Correa\u2019s emphasis on tourism in Ecuador, projects such as the construction of the Ruta del Sol have spurred on the tourism sector.\u00a0 The <strong>International Tourism Fair of Ecuador (FITE)<\/strong> serves to highlight the many positive developments in the tourism sector.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh off the FITE presentations in Salinas, Ecuador, epicenter for the coastal resort tourism market, exciting new tourism announcements were made. \u00a0Along with that was the arrival of 30 diverse international tourism delegations.
