Built in 2013 on 1,228 m2 (13,218 ft2) of land this rice processing plant was strategically positioned to offer direct routes to the to various markets and suppliers.
Located in the Cuenca suburb of Cumbe just 150 feet from the Pan-American Highway, the location offers easy access the largest rice producing area in southern Ecuador as well as two major Peruvian border crossings (Macarà in the province of Loja and Huaquillas in the Province of El Oro).
Northern Peru is known for producing a higher quality of rough rice that demands a premium in the market.
The current owners have a network of suppliers and channels of distribution already in place.
The current owners are willing to stay on for a period of time to assist with the transition of ownership.
At its current capacity the facility has the capability to peel, dry and package 250 quintals of rice per day. In addition, there is infrastructure in place to more than double daily capacity.
