Just 20 minutes from Panama City, Panama, Taboga Island, known as the Island of Flowers is a jungle covered tropical paradise with pristine waters that offer abundant fishing, diving and natural beauty.
The approx. 2400 sq. ft. house is situated on a bluff overlooking the Bay of Panama and the dynamic Panama City skyline through stately swaying palm trees.
Originally built in 1956 as the last house in the old section of town and affectionately named “The Last Resort” by the original owner, the house has been lovingly restored and is spacious, airy and extremely comfortable. With its three bedrooms, each with en- suite, 10 foot ceilings, air conditioning, ceiling fans and spectacular views, this house is guaranteed to delight. Beamed ceilings in the living, dining area provide a cozy, rustic ambience and its huge front porch and 30 foot long sun porch with wall to wall windows are perfect spots for relaxing and entertaining. The first level also includes a kitchen, fourth bathroom, laundry room and a private fenced backyard and barbeque area. There is also a large (approx. 1000 gallon) freshwater cistern, an emergency gravity feed water tank and the island now boasts a new 1.2 million dollar desalination plant that provides water 24/7.
