I don't know about you, but I've been using AT&T Long Distance for awhile now and always thought I was getting pretty good rates. I'm on the 7 cents per minute plan with a $3.95 monthly fee on top of that. Now I know there is a company offering flat 3.9 cents per minute long distance with no monthly minimum, no monthly fees, no changing rates based on time of day, and no restrictions about home or business. That's right, businesses can take advantage of the same rates as a residential customer. On top of that, it is the optimal 6 second billing (no rounding up to the next full minute on calls) so you're not paying for time you're not on the phone.
One other thing they offer is a Toll Free 1-800 number for personal or business use with no startup costs and the same 3.9 cents per minute flat rate cost. The convenience of that for a business is obvious, but it is also great for family purposes to allow college-aged kids a free way to call home or for extended family to do the same.
These are two of the best pieces of news I have come across in a long time for my monthly bills.
My monthly long distance is normally between $20 and $40 with AT&T, and now it varies from $10 to $20 on my new plan. It may not be a lot of money to save, but I'd rather keep it than send it off to AT&T when they don't do anything special in terms of favors for me. I have provided some cost comparison information down farther on the page if you would like to see some sample numbers.
If you'd like to take advantage of this special rate or have any questions, just email domesticld@escapeartist.net or fill out this form. I'll get back to you with the information needed to switch your service.
