Dear friend, If you're looking for a Caribbean retreat easily accessible from North America, where you can buy inexpensive, developed real estate, profit from a booming rental market, enjoy white-sand beaches, and a good infrastructure ... consider the Dominican Republic. November 10-15, 1 will be heading there to investigate the best market in the "developed" Caribbean, and I hope you'll join me. We couldn't be going at a better time. Of the 1.6 million tourists who visit annually, only 100,000 are North American. This will all change soon. Later this year, the D. R. plans to launch a $6.5 million campaign to attract U.S. tourists. As their numbers increase, so will the value of property and the profit potential on rentals. Buy soon, and your investment will be quickly worth more than you paid for it. Here's just a sampling of the tremendous profit opportunities I found on a recent trip: You can buy a 450-sq.-ft. studio condominium four-minutes from the beach for $22,000. That same property doesn't exist in Cayman. You can rent it out at $200 a week for 25 weeks. Subtract annual condo fees and management fees, and you're left with $3,500-a 16.67% return. No property taxes. You won't pay a cent to the government for taxes on your beachfront property or any real estate you own. On our six-day excursion, you will have the chance to see the best real-estate and investment opportunities in the Dominican Republic. We'll visit Santo Domingo, the capital city. Here you will also meet with our key contacts including Luis R. Pellerano, an attorney specializing in the propertybuying process and citizenship laws; Eddie Martinez, Director of the office for the promotion of Foreign Investment; Mike Cobb, who will discuss how you can finance your Caribbean property; and Marcell Felipe, an attorney who specializes in offshore tax structures, plus local real-estate agents and expatriates. From there we will explore properties available on the pristine beaches of Sostia, Puerta Plata, and Samana. The D. R. is poised to boom in the months to come. I look forward to traveling there with you in November to beat the crowds. Sincerely,
Robert Fordi,
Director
