| The Fantasia del Mar is a fully registered
Panamanian ship. She was built in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, and launched
in 1978, and brought to Panama in the 1980s to provide ferry service to
Panama's island archipelago off its Pacific Coastline. The Critides
family, owners of Argo Tours and the Fantasia del Mar, has kept the vessel
ship-shape throughout its years of service. A fully outfitted cafeteria
is located on the first deck along with a spacious fan tail for viewing
aft. The second deck is partially enclosed and fully air conditioned with |
| ARGO TOURS is a family owned

The Fantasia del Mar was built to maximum
Panama Canal "handline" specs, which virtually
guarantees daylight transits through the
Panama Canal. The size of the vessel, it's large passenger capacity,
and and the virtual guarantee of daylight transits provides an interesting
opportunity for tourist services. New cruise facilities opened on the Panama
Canal's Atlantic entrance are bringing thousands of tourists to Panama
each month. Many cruise ships prefer not to transit the Canal, but
have small excursion boats do it as a shore excursion. The Fantasia
del Mar is by far the largest vessel for this available in Panama.
The prospectus for this service alone makes the purchase of the Fantasia
del Mar a lucrative one.
Other lucrative conventional markets also
exist, such as minicruise service to the Las Perlas Islands on Panama's
Pacific Coast, minicruises to the famous San Blas Islands on Panama's Caribbean
Coast; mothership sport fishing; mothership scuba diving excursions to
some of the world's most famous dive spots. |
Furthermore, the Fantasia del Mar is an
ocean going vessel. She could be relocated for service anywhere in
the maritime world, such as the Mediterranean and adjoining seas, the Caribbean,
or the South Pacific to name a few. Whether in Panamanian waters,
or in other exotic locations, lucrative opportunities await the next owners.
The company Argo Tours is also available at a very reasonable price.
