Moving Offshore Just Got Easier Some people labor at moving offshore and getting their second citizenship, while others ride the process out in highest of style.  Some spend a fortune on various residency schemes in order to qualify for an eventual passport.  A select group of others spend their time wandering on their yacht from pristine hidden beaches to European yacht havens after qualifying for their residency in the blink of an eye.  Which style of life appeals to you?  If you are the type of person who wants to decide by way of experience which beach, harbor or nation that you like best, then having a luxury yacht is the option to consider. Whether it is a beach in the Caribbean, cruising the Mediterranean, the Pacific or the South American coast, a luxury yacht puts you there; and it puts you there in style.  Did we leave out the nightlife?  How about Rio de Janeiro after dark? With today's ubiquitous internet connectivity, yacht design, and navigational software, the sort of lifestyle I'm discussing is a reality.  But add to that a very important fact that is pertinent to this discussion - - when your yacht is purchased and registered in Panama, you can actually have your cake and eat it too.  Read on....

Financial Freedom = Personal Freedom If you are a person of means, (or at least have good credit) and you want more control over your life, there is now a method of moving offshore, gaining your financial freedom, living in a state of uncompromised luxury, along with increased choices and flexibility - a lifestyle that was once all but impossible to attain, but which I assure you, you can now realistically attain. Get A Second Passport Purchase a luxury yacht in Panama and you qualify for citizenship in your adopted country, even while you travel!  Yacht ownership offshore is on a record rise, from a historical point of view, ShowBoats International's 2005 Global Order Book is nothing short of staggering.  Consider that this years increase is in itself equal to the entire order book rating for the year 1995.  This equals to a $1.2 Billion dollar increase in sales!  As is usually the case, Italian luxury yachts lead the way with over 60% of the word market and the top two luxury builders.

Panama now has major distributorships for the famous ultra luxury yacht maker Ferretti Group. But in Panama the prices are much lower than in Europe or the USA.  Panama has always been known as the “Path Between the Seas”, and owning a yacht in Panama allows both oceans. From Panama's Caribbean coast it is only a few short days to most the important Caribbean destinations.  From Panama's Caribbean coast you can take a day trip to the walled city of Cartagena, to Colombia or to Costa Rica.  If you get bored with the Caribbean, then you can transport the Canal of Panama and enjoy the Pacific. 

But why limit yourself?

If you own a yacht, Europe awaits, as does South America.  The Caribbean and Pacific Islands are paradise yes, but the nightlife in Rio de Janeiro, Bodrum, Monte Carlo, Singapore and a host of other harbor cities are part of your front yard.  You can live where you want and schedule your life to preferable weather and events of interest.  If you want to enjoy the opera in Buenos Aires you spend the opera season on the River Plate, if you want to see a surfing contest in Hawaii, you're there ....and while you are enjoying the world, whether it be the nightlife in London, or a private beach on a Pacific Island you are living in a movable palace and all the while you are also qualifying for a second passport in Panama.  With today's advanced telecommunications and computer technology you can play the stock market from an anchorage off an uninhabited Pacific Island, or trade futures on the New York Stock Exchange, using your private Panamanian corporation rather than your own name as your investment entity.  The world is your oyster.

The sleeping area will surely surprise the ship owner and his guests, with its four comfortable cabins and 5 bathrooms with which the Ferretti 880 is equipped. Indeed, in our design efforts and the structural solutions we've adopted there are no compromises. As with all yachts in Ferretti’s product range, the livability of spaces dedicated to the cabins have been entrusted to architects and engineers with the aim of finding original solutions to ensure comfort during the cruise. This is, indeed, the big difference that makes Ferretti yachts really unique and matchless. Situated at the boat's center, the ship owner has his very own suite with walk-in wardrobe, located behind the bed between the two bathrooms. One bathroom has a large shower, while the other has a comfortable bath; both enjoy greater privacy thanks to a hall that separates the two entrances.
