Forestal S.A. offers innovative and first class forestry services.
Since it's
foundation in 1994 the company is developing unique concepts of reforestation
that produce fine tropical hardwoods of high value, carbon credits and
non-timber forest products within a sustainable and sane environment.

| For 48,000
US $ investors receive 2 ha (4,94 Acre) of “WoodStockInvest titled forest
land registered in Panama. So far fine tropical timber has come out of
the primary rainforest or from monoculture plantations.
The Futuro
Forestal Way is based on the combination of high productivity and biodiversity.
Futuro Forestal reforestation fields are plantations unknown in the tropics
– they are similar to nature-like multicultural forests in Europe. In addition
to effective wood production the forest offers habitat to many native animals
and plants protects and enriches the soil, stores and filters water and
has a positive influence on the world climate. With seven primarily native
species (in addition to secondary forest growth) including well known species
such as coco bolo (rosewood), Mahogany, Teak, Cedro Espino, Amarillo and
other commercially popular species Futuro Forestal has an ideal portfolio
for existing commercial markets (both locally and in the export markets).
Most of the
investors US and German investors, with the rest scattered all over the
globe many of them are science oriented by profession. Through intense
Forest management and service Futuro Forestal wants to ensure high market
prices in the future. |

| Already the
trees tend to grow a little faster than conservative projections indicate,
with ball park Internal Rate of returns expected to be in the range of
8% to 12% annually, based on science driven assumptions and sustainable
harvesting on 25 year rotations. Already after ten to twelve years the
first trees are being taken out to be put on the market. Further harvesting
follows in the years 15, 18, 22 and 25. From year 15 the next generation
is already in line through natural seed spread. There is a much lower investment
required for the following cycle. Therefore “WoodStockInvest” is a foundation
for many generations of forest usage and long-term profits.
In predictions
and research Futuro Forestal works closely with scientific institutions
such as the University of Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies
and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. |

There are
several dozen reforestation companies on the market, but the program Futuro
Forestal is very unique and their outstanding results brought them a rating
as “Best Forest Investment program in Latin America”.

Futuro Forestal
also was the first company in Panama to be certified by the FSC the Forest
Stewardship Council.
Only a few
reforestation projects in Panama have this seal. The FSC is an independent,
membership-based organization that brings people together to promote responsible
management of the world's forests through developing standards, a certification
system and trademark recognition.
Investors typically
invest $40,000 or more, and receive direct title of the real estate, a
turn-key package of the trees for 25 years that prepays 100% of everything
to do with the trees for 25 years, all managed by the company. But
also it is possible to invest just in 1 ha of forest land for a price of
19,500 US $ . |

|
| The land that
Futuro Forestal has chosen for the reforestation was originally, many decades
ago covered with tropical rainforest.
These forests
were cut, agriculturally used for a short while and then transformed into
cattle fields – now they are retransformed into forests thanks to Futuro
Forestal’s acre “WoodStockInvest”.
The Reforestation
and Service company is based in Las Lajas in the Province of Chiriqui,
an hour before David. Since its foundation in 1994 Futuro Forestal
has reforested more than 1,500
acres in the
region.
