Only a few reforestation projects in Panama have this seal. The FSC is an independent, membership-based organization that brings people together to promote responsible management of the world's forests through developing standards, a certification system and trademark recognition. 

Investors typically invest $40,000 or more, and receive direct title of the real estate, a turn-key package of the trees for 25 years that prepays 100% of everything to do with the trees for 25 years, all managed by the company.  But also it is possible to invest just in 1 ha of forest land for a price of  19,500 US $ . 

These forests were cut, agriculturally used for a short while and then transformed into cattle fields – now they are retransformed into forests thanks to Futuro Forestal’s acre “WoodStockInvest”.
