HEALTH

Polish tradition of building houses made of wooden logs is over a 1000 years old. This unique and, at the same time, the most natural of all material creates a natural atmosphere and lively feeling. Log homes are healthy for the body because the wood breathe working as air conditioner and regulates humidity and roof temperature. Air is able to go through the wood from both directions. Log houses are also good for the mind and soul. Because of their natural colours, warmth, and the smell of resin present in the wood they make us feel the “fluids of the earth”.

MATERIAL

We only select good quality raw materials: the trees are of high density and have close annual rings. Such logs ar resistant to heavy wind and rain. Our houses are in a complete harmony with natural surroundings thanks to adapting the original character of wood to architectural purposes.

TECHNOLOGY

To the long tradition of builing log houses we added new XXIst century's knowledge and technology. What is left as traditional are: healthy, ecological material, wood, and the way of tidying walls- without glue and nails.

The houses are equipped with:

· wooden floors

· wooden walls and doors

· water-supply system

· wiring system

· heating system ( fireplace “Deville”)

We are able to offer a large variety of desigs and also adapt traditonally-build homes to the “log concept”. Whatever personal touches our cliens desire for their homes, we will do everything to meet their demands and make the home the essence of secure shelter.

Logs are turned on a lathe with the diameter to 27cm. They are not soaked with any chemical agents; they are only slowly dried to fix their structure. Thanks to that they fit tightly one to another and have a perfect heat isolation. Log homes provide thermal mass capacity higher than those of concrete or brick walls of the same thickness. Our careful design reduces the chance of decay and parasites- the overhanging roofs and water drainage systems protect our houses from staying humid for long.

After being erected, the external walls are covered with ecological impregnant which is produced of only vegetable materials. On such prepared layer there might be put ecological varnish and wax.

Inside our house the walls are only varnished or waxed to protect their original surface against dirth and dust. Roofs are covered with floor slabs and bituminuos shingle, or non-flammable thatch.

Such technology makes the wood “breathe”, enables constant air circulation, guarantees stable, human-friendly microclimate and keeps the warmth inside.

QUALITY and DELIVERY

The monitoring system and well-prepared staff allows us to build high-quality homes. We operate in compliance with Polish quality standards and regulations.

Qualified personnel are succesfully monitoring all positions in the factory. After a final control inspection is done, individual parts of log homes are numbered,
packed in weather proof containers and shipped from the factory. Full control of all contracts from proposal to delivery is of our concern.

DESIGN
To meet our clients’ individual needs and requests we combine the aspects of beauty and efficiency. Log homes work with almost any style chosen. They are especially perfect for suburban settings. Original contrasts may be achieved by combining large wood logs with stone, plaster, or slate.
