Escape to Cape Town, South Africa
Moving To One Of The World's Most Beautiful Cities  ~ By Connie Gargano
Beautiful beaches, sunny skies all-year round, playground of the rich and beautiful - all this for a fraction of the price of moving anywhere else in the world!  South Africa has fast become one of the most sought after holiday and relocation destinations in the world due to the favorable economy and exchange rate to most currencies.  Why not consider a holiday and then come to stay!

Over the past few years, more and more small businesses from particularly the States and Europe have relocated their operational base to South Africa.  Cape Town in particular has abundance of highly skilled and educated personnel, who are currently unemployed or in part-time or contract employment.  It is this highly skilled and available workforce which favours the decision to relocate an operational base to Cape Town.  Savings of between 30-50% on operational and employment costs is the major reason for such decision to relocate.  Living in South Africa at a fraction of the cost of living in the States, whilst maintaining the highest of living standards, comparative to that of most major cities in the world, makes for a favourable argument in support of moving to South Africa.

Background

According to a survey in 2002 by Wesgro (The Western Cape Investment and Trade Promotion Agency), the Western Cape is one of the most productive of SA’s nine provinces.  With a 10% population and area share, its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product is about 15%.  The province’s robust economy can be attributed to its balanced diversity of primary activities - agriculture, fishing and forestry - plus an equally diverse range of manufacturing subsectors, a vibrant tourism sector and an increasingly array of future-oriented service industries.

The Namaqualand Desert stretches from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Great Orange River and south beyond Garies. There are three distinct landscapes: a sandy coastal area aong the Atlantic, the Central Mountains that rise up to 1707 meters and a high plateau in the east. The area is famous for the flowers that bloom there during the winter rains. You can walk waist high in over 4,000 types of flowers. But there is more:  moonscapes and lush greenery in the north along the Vaal and Orange Rivers. The area is also known for its silence.
.
Cape Town is not only the powerhouse of the Western Cape region, but also renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful and exciting cities.  A relatively mature demographic structure, comparatively high literacy and school attendance rates and a superior higher education infrastructure have enable the region to participate with some confidence in the increasingly competitive global economy.  The Western Cape also has a well-developed transport infrastructure, including well-maintained harbor and recently upgraded international airport, as well as extensive bus, rail and taxi networks.
.
Talking with many travelers, I've learned over and over again that many people feel the two most stunning cities  in the world to live in are San Francisco and Cape Town.
It is in this climate that Your-office.co.za was conceptualised out of the recognition of a niche market existing in South Africa for the provision of individualised services to individual small businesses from the United States as well as Europe, intending to move their operational base to South Africa.  Many existing large removal and shipping companies exist which offer similar services, but the individualised and personal touch of “getting to know the client” is missing, resulting in the failure to reach the intended goal of ensuring the comfortable relocation of individuals, not only their possessions, but also their lives!

Problems encountered with regard to some degree of exploitation based on “foreign accents”, as well as no available credit history or trade references of our clients, has been some of the contributing factors which has made our services so reliable and efficient, based on the referral relationships we have forged with local companies across a spectrum of industries.  We are able to act on behalf of our client eliminating the fear of being victimised due to non-residency status.

These referral relationships has enabled us to offer our clients various options in terms of costs whilst not being charged inflated prices, as well as assistance in orientation upon settling into our city.

We escort you and introduce you to the social activities in the city!

Your-Office.co.za not only provides individuals with business referrals prior to their arrival in the country, but also assists with the introduction and set-up of meetings once in SA.  Your-Office.co.za operates from the basis of making the arrival in SA as smooth as possible, with all accommodation and travel needs taken care of.  We source housing based on the prior assessed criteria of our clients.  We have a relationship with one of the country’s most well known Immigration lawyers, who is based in Cape Town with an office in Johannesburg, to assist with any migratory needs.

We even fly your pets over!

The Director of Your-Office.co.za, Mrs Connie Gargano (BA, BA Hons) has been extensively educated in governmental processes and procedures, with 9 years of experience in the area of client liaison.  Mrs Gargano has travelled the world, lived on 3 continents and is therefore familiar with the “angst” of moving to and getting settled in another country.  Its this experience which has proved invaluable when meeting with her clients from the first call or email, to the “roof-wetting party” of their first own and new house in our lovely city!

..
With the further assistance of a wide range of “virtual assistants”, administrative services can be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without the need for our clients to have established an office prior to arrival.  Should the client requires such, Your-Office.co.za also sources office spaces and negotiates leases prior to the clients arrival, ensuring a trouble-free settling-in period.

References from very happy and existing US clients will attest to our friendly and cost effective services!
