New Choppers On The Cheap |

| Once again,
Welcome to (not so Sunny) Mexico! Even though we are experiencing a few
days of cold weather here in the mountains, it’s still a “Little Slice
of Heaven”.
My previous
articles have been on house-sitting, and medical costs for doctors, hospitals,
and on living cheaply in Mexico. My comments today are in relation
to DENTAL COSTS.
Have you been
to the dentist lately? How about those prices??? Do you feel
that you will need the help of the US Treasury to be able to afford even
a part of your needed dental work? Was the dentist kidding when he
quoted you those costs?? Probably not! |

| Well there
is hope on the horizon or at least in the land of eternal spring here in
Mexico where you CAN find affordable, US or University trained dentists
who can handle all of your dental needs at AFFORDABLE prices! I have
no idea what you are paying or what you have been quoted but I can assure
you that its LESS here in this part of the world! Don’t assume that because
this is Mexico that it may be a third world country. In many ways,
it still is but their medical practices are right up there with the US.
I have met and interviewed several dentists here in this area of central
Mexico and have procured the following prices for you to compare.
It seems that a few years ago, in my opinion, Dentists in the states found
out what their fellow medical MDS were charging and not to be outdone,
started raising their prices too. It is not unusual to spend
$4,000 to $6,000 on dental procedures in the states. I was told last night
by a retired dentist that he has done many mouths for $25,000 and he retired
over 4 years ago! … But as I said, there is HOPE!
How about
a highly trained English speaking Dr of Dentistry who charges AFFORDABLE
Rates and prices for the same procedures that you pay highly for in the
states? Would you like that? I’d bet that you would!!! |
|
|
| I suspect
that it may be possible for you to fly to sunny Mexico for a two week vacation
and get your dental work done for much, much less than what 1 or 2 procedures
might cost you in the US. If not, just drive down or take a bus (they
are much better here than in the states) and save money. Don’t
just take my word for it; just think back to the last quote that you got
from your friendly neighborhood dentist.
I’ll just bet
that he looks at your mouth as his next BMW! Did it take you long to get
over the shock? I don’t blame him for this but you have to decide if you
want to save money or not.
Compare
these costs with your recent quotes!
