A prodigious cash crop like pure, natural Tobacco can spell revival for a seemingly hopeless rural American dream, and for the dreams of those who have left this country to seek a sustainable life elsewhere in this beautiful world.

There is almost no country in the world where Tobacco is not a native plant, so no matter where you live in the world there is the possibility of raising not only a personal crop but also a specialty Tobacco crop that you can sell using the Internet to customers anywhere else in the world.  This makes specialty, boutique Tobacco one of the most viable ways for an expatriate to generate a cash income anywhere in the world.  Just a fraction of an acre is all that’s needed to raise enough Tobacco plants to provide an individual or family with a very nice income.

Native Americans believed that Tobacco was one of the most sacred gifts of the Great Spirit to his people.  Bill Drake also believes, and he wants people to liberate themselves from the thrall of the multinational so-called “Tobacco companies,” whose products he says really have nothing to do with the sacred herb and are nothing more than industrialized poison.  Now he shares his years of experience raising natural Tobacco in this thoughtful and enlightening eBook, The Cultivators Handbook of Native, Natural Tobacco.  His own passion for sharing the sacred gift of the Great Spirit carries through.

You may know Bill Drake’s Marijuana books, Cultivators Handbook of Marijuana (1969), Connoisseur’s Handbook of Marijuana (1971) and Marijuana Foods (1981). You may also know that he started the Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1980. “The original purpose of the Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company was to encourage Native Americans to reclaim their spiritual and economic heritage by growing true Native American Tobaccos on Native American land, free from regulation and control by the government, providing potent, natural, spiritually compatible tobaccos to enlightened smokers worldwide…

“Today it’s been bought by big Tobacco and is little more than a front for those big Tobacco interests.  Its flagship brand, American Spirit, which I originally conceived of as an expression of the powerful origins of true native, naturally-grown Tobacco is a pale(face) imitation of the true American Spirit which we began with…”

However, his conviction lives on that there is an enormous potential demand for true, natural, native Tobacco.  He believes this one crop can be the basis for sustainable wealth on hundreds of thousands of small family farms, Native American and just plain American, across the country and around the world.

You might be saying, “Wait a minute!  This is the big plan, to grow tobacco, a monstrous plant that kills millions of people every year!?”  Be assured that this is absolutely not the plan.  For one thing, it isn’t Tobacco that’s killing all those people – it’s what has been done to native, natural Tobacco over generations by the cynical, crazed, greed-obsessed Tobacco industry that is responsible for all that suffering and dying.

This eBook tells the real story of the chemicalized, poisonous Tobacco products manufactured by these evil empires contrasted with the sweet, potent, natural smoke produced by homegrown true native Tobacco.  The conventional small, family-owned Tobacco farm, with dozens of acres devoted to commodity Tobacco, is heavily regulated by a government commodity system and sells only to the giant Tobacco companies who keep ‘their’ growers tied to a system that amounts to little more than slavery.

However, a small crop of real Tobacco can be the economic backbone of thousands of renaissance family farms -- family farms where a quarter acre or a half acre is devoted to a Tobacco garden where exotic Tobaccos, never before seen or tasted by American and European smokers, are raised under optimum, natural, pesticide-free conditions and then processed by hand on the farm, then packaged in artful, creative packaging.  The product can then be sold directly to the customer over the Internet – the same way that millions of people now sell items directly to each other through services like eBay.

When you do the numbers on this kind of production you will see that it is easily within the realm of possibility that less than an acre of homegrown, native, natural can bring the family farm an income of up to $25,000 a year, cash in pocket, with the government, big Tobacco, and giant chemical industry rendered totally irrelevant.  Even better, there are literally thousands of kinds of Tobacco seeds, many from varieties not seen for generations, many of a variety never seen outside of a single small area of native people who used their Tobacco to walk the smoke path to the spirit world -- and these seeds are available absolutely free.

Of course, it will be important to check the laws where you live – the multinational “Tobacco” companies guard their prerogative to be the exclusive supplier of so-called Tobacco products to the world and in some countries even a small crop of Tobacco might attract unwelcome official attention, but by and large this isn’t a problem in most countries where expatriates live.

Bill Drake started raising N. Rustica in New Mexico from seeds that a Native American friend had found in a small pot in an ancient grave that probably belonged to a high-ranking shaman.  With his eBook you too can learn to cultivate pure, natual Tobacco and begin producing a cash crop with roots in antiquity.  Find out how to advantage of the free availability of seeds to start your crop, how to cultivate, cure and even flavor it safely and profitably.Everything you need to know is available right here in The Cultivators Handbook of Native, Natural Tobacco.  Happy farming!
