Ireland is a red hot hot hot destination!

Irish pubs, Guinness, Riverdance, Waterford Crystal, leprechauns, blarney, the Cliffs of Moher, Yeats and U2 are some of things synonymous with the Emerald Isle. With all these things on offer isn't it time you planned your Irish working holiday?

With the help from our guide LiveWork&Play in Ireland you will be able to kick start your Irish dream.

The guide is filled with all the relevant information you need from organising yourself before you go, arrival procedures, accommodation, transport options and suggested highlights to visit to an employment section with all the contacts you need.

People agree that disillusionment with life prompts them to go overseas. Broken romances are another major reason. Some are transferred there. Others like the thought of listing overseas companies on their curriculum vitae. For some it is something they have always wanted to do.

Whatever reason is motivating you, you don´t need to be a gregarious child of adventure
to undertake such a holiday. All you need is a passport, a visa, a desire to experience a new culture, the will to take any work available and a penchant to have fun - well.

   About the Author

In 1988 I first went overseas on a working holiday. I arrived on the other side of the world with no friends, family, work, accommodation and wondered what on earth to do next?

Hopefully this won´t happen to you because with a little pre-planning and knowledge of available opportunities, any worries should be minimal and covered by the following tips. While some people just get up and go, there are those who plan their trip well in advance and/or in minute detail. Whatever you are, nervous first-timer or seasoned traveler treat this travel booklet as your friend, a friend who will reveal secrets and other things to you as only a friend can and will do.

When you have finished living, working and playing in Ireland the Moving On chapter will advise on things to sort out before you leave and other working holiday destinations.
