2. Tempe Festival of the Arts
This event takes place from March 29-31, 2019, and attracts nearly 225,000 guests. The event yearly ranks among the Top 100 Classic & Contemporary Craft Shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
The Tempe Festival of the Arts showcases up to 375 independent artists and their work on Mill Avenue and the surrounding streets. The artists present unique, handmade artwork that offer art enthusiasts and shoppers an interesting shopping experience.
Visitors enjoy live entertainment, local food and drink, and fun for all ages. There are also sponsorship and volunteer opportunities available.
This year the festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary!
3. Pot of Gold Music Festival
The Pot of Gold music festival is back, located at the Phoenix Steele Indian School Park March 15-17. 2019! If you want to spend a spring weekend listening to today’s latest hits, buy your tickets soon!
This year’s headliners include Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Post Malone and many more.! Attendees also enjoy local food vendors, a large selection of products for sale, product giveaways, and the Space Lab Area that features many audience interactive areas. There is even Arcade Alley that features classic games like pinball.
In partnership with local hotels, travel packages are available for those visiting from out of town.
4. Cactus League Spring Training
One of the biggest draws to Phoenix during spring is Cactus League Spring Training. From February 21-March 26, fifteen major league teams play over 200 games in the Greater Phoenix area. Each ballpark is less than a 45-minute drive from one another.
Spring training is definitely a celebration of the warm weather to come and is a seasonal rite in Phoenix. Baseball lovers from all over the nation flock to Greater Phoenix.

5. LPGA Tour’s Bank of Hope Founders Cup
From March 18-24, the world’s best women golfers will tee up in Phoenix at the Wildfire Golf Club for the ninth annual LPGA’s Bank of Hope Cup. The golf course is located at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa.
The tournament pays tribute to the people who played a major role in forming the LPGA. It was established to honor the thirteen original founders of the LPGA and help raise funds for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program, that has received nearly $3 million from tournament proceeds.
Ticket prices start at roughly $20 and the tournament also offers volunteer opportunities.
