I am back with you today to quickly let you know about a job opportunity in Belize. If you are planning to live and work overseas, this may be a good fit. ECI Development is recruiting an operations manager in Belize, and we will be accepting resumes for the next two weeks. The job description is below:

Operations Manager (Belize)

Job Description:

In conjunction with the CEO, CFO, and COO, the Operations Manager provides leadership to all levels of staff and is responsible for day-to-day management of the business unit, including revenue growth, new business, cost and margin control, and financial goal management. The Operations Manager will provide direction in new business, management, and vision necessary to ensure the company utilizes the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to properly grow the organization and financial strength.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership management to an organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the measurement of effectiveness of both internal and external operations.
  • Collaborate with management team to implement plans designed to achieve growth objectives.
  • Recruit, motivate, and lead high-performance operations team.
  • Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
  • 5+ years in previous successful operations management experience.
  • Previous experience in real estate development and hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication, writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Spanish language proficiency a strong plus.
  • Finance experience a plus.
