Do
you want Online Radio with CD quality sound? We have it, and we have
placed an emphasis on Jazz Stations, Classical Music Stations, and other
quality music with the mature, intelligent listener in mind. We differ
from every other provider of online radio stations in that we have no advertisements,
and we have close to the highest sound quality on the internet. We use
between 64 and 160 kbps Bitrates. Bitrates are a good indicator for sound
quality. While compressed signals never actually reach CD quality on the
internet, we get as close as it is possible to get. Our sample frequency
is not less than 48 kHz (90%+) This means that now you can listen to great
music all day while you surf the web [the radio opens as a separate window
in a reduced screen size so it can sit in the background on your browser
while you work or surf.] You can listen to any number of great stations
and we're adding more daily Plus you can listen free without annoying pop-ups,
voice ads, or flashing ads. Best of all you can listen with close to CD

Television from around the world. The idea, of course is to present
television from various nations so that you can get a sample of what television
is like in Brazil, Belize, or even Borneo. We are working at expanding
the list of channels and also on improving the database so all the stations
listed work all of the time. [an anomaly of Online Television is fickleness.]
Plus, we would like to be able to remote link to specific nations. If we
wanted to remote link to television in Argentina, it would look like this:

have that remote link option fully functional for each country and for
each category, but we are working on it and should have it by March 2010.
Okay, here's the deal; you can watch television from Argentina right now
- - you can watch television from Brazil right now, its a fully functional
online
television player. We are adding more content; maybe even Borneo and the
Antarctic if possible. The television player works right now and there
are mucho channels. You can watch science fiction, westerns, television
from numerous nations, maybe even Borneo. . . . if they they have television
in Borneo.

Newspapers
of the world? - International press & media? When we started
our website we realized that reading an overseas newspaper could give a
person insights into what it was like to live in a country. What
we didn't realize is that newspapers were on their way out. Why read a
newspaper when one can get current news on various websites? But
that's not always true. In much of Latin America people still read newspapers;
Tits & Ass type newspapers, with some brainless bimbo on the front
cover, her boobs hanging out, a full color photo of a major motor accident
on the back cover. Hey, it's the news, and people read it. Okay, there
are some serious newspapers in Latin America, but T & A is big; no
denying it. The fact remains that reading foreign newspapers does have
worth, not just for finding out what's current, but figuring out what a
culture reacts to. Add to that, the fact that many times the real price
of a commodity is posted in a newspapers Classifieds, real estate for instance;
while an inflated price is posted online — the same company might post
the same property online for twice as much hoping for a dumb gringo buyer.
(There's plenty of them.) . . . and there are other reasons to check out
newspapers in foreign nations. The original idea still holds value;
so we leave this section online. Okay, we need to update it, that's a given.

Films & Videos - Coming Soon - We suspect that the films and video
section will be online by March 2010. The game plan is to include the following:
Forum type setup with user contributions in preset channels and/or categories
( . . . suggesting new videos, channels and categories is to be an option).
Documentaries and films relevant to the international expat lifestyle,
videos featuring living offshore, offshore investments, interviews with
relevant thinkers, doers and investment consultants. We intend to have
our own selected display channels (Example: Our 'Moving To Belize' index
page will show all videos tagged Belize, our 'Real Estate in Belize' index
will have videos on Belize real estate, and so forth). We intend to have
private channels on our partner sub-domains (Shared access when appropriate,
but the center engine can serve their own private video items as well.)
This is being developed and tested at this time. It is not our intention
to compete with anyone, but to present content that is relevant to expats
and want-to-be expats. So EscapeArtist's, take heart, we will soon have
films, videos, and documentaries that have the sort of content that you
want to see.
