Real Estate As Offshore Survival Retreat - Advice Without The Sugar Coating |

Real Estate As Survival Retreat - I have never been a dooms-day preacher
and I don't intend to start now. With that said, it would be prudent
for the reader to take a calm and objective look at some of the possible
negative situations that may soon take place inside the USA and see how
those events may affect you and your loved ones. I believe that you can
avoid being in the pathway of those oncoming disasters by having an offshore
survival retreat. An offshore survival retreat can be many things, it can
be a summer home, a place where your family lives and survives a social
break-down that may be happening in the USA, it can be an excellent investment,
it can be an excellent place to live, it can be a way of expatriating and
diversifying some of your assets offshore, it can be the beginning of a
better way of life. That is what this article is about in a nutshell.
It can be all of those things at the same time, or it can just be the one
that is the most important to you. I call it investing in offshore
real estate. EscapeArtist.com Staff Article |

Up To $80,000 Abroad Tax Free - Keep The Rest in an IBC |
| -
The Foreign Earned Income Exclusion coupled with Offshore eCommerce equals
tax free living abroad. "There is another way to make more than $80,000
net and still reduce our taxes to zero. By using offshore eCommerce coupled
with a Panamanian International Business Corporation (IBC,) we can make
any amount of money into the IBC and still keep our tax basis at zero.
If we purchase our house in the name of the IBC, we can rent the house
to ourselves, thereby increasing our tax exclusion by the amount of the
rent, which is paid back into our own IBC bank account. Note that this
modality is best used when you earn more than $80,000 net and cannot move
the additional income into your IBC. The IBC acts as a buffer in
this case by reducing the taxes on the amount of income that exceeds the
$80,000. In cases where the majority of income enters the IBC rather
than being paid to you individually, this modality is hardly necessary.
You can live in the house rent free if your entire personal income is less
than $80,000." |

Privacy |
| - According
to legal authorities in Panama, the law is based on the guidelines of the
UNCITRAL Model Law on E-Commerce and awards electronic documents and signatures
the same validity as written documents. This is especially important as
Panama has strict banking and corporate laws designed to protect the privacy
of investors. The implication is that Panama now has the best protected
internet eCommerce legislation in the world. |

another key factor in all this, too. Not long ago, Switzerland was the

it still is - after all, its banks still hold an estimated 30% of global

Doug Casey always seems to write stuff that's fun to read. In this
article he has us believing that we can make zillions in Ghana. As
he puts it, "Making a zillion dollars in a country like Ghana is potentially
much easier than making it in the U.S. That's because you (the reader)
have unique experiences, connections, knowledge, and capital that - while
they're commonplace in more advanced countries - go a long way in an less
developed countries (like Ghana), where you're automatically a big fish
in a little pond." |

If there has been any doubt that a housing bubble really exists, recent
news should have changed that. In early July, word got out that trailers
in a mobile home park in Malibu were selling for over $1 million. Well,
granted, it’s not your ordinary trailer park—scenically located at Point
Dume and close enough to the houses of the stars that you can wave Barbra

you’re thinking globally. In this article I will attempt to simplify
