| Health
Insurance:Thailand - Expatriates from all over the world are visiting
Thailand in increasing numbers for a myriad of different reasons. Some
are choosing to go to the country for the serene sights that can be found
in the country & many lush jungles and forests. Some foreign nationals
are going to Thailand in order to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday in one
of the many infamous resort locations. There may even be economic reasons
for the relocation; many expatriates however, are choosing to visit, or
permanently relocate to, Thailand because of the low cost, high quality
healthcare services that the country can offer. |

| Singapore:
The Anti-India - Singapore only has 2 seasons: hot, and hot and rainy.
Unlike Indians, though, the largely Chinese population does not suffer
from temporary insanity at the sight of bare ankles. So, women are able
to wear skirts without creating an international incident. However, hem
lengths are the only thing that isn’t regulated. Singapore may be a “parliamentary
republic,” but there are plainclothes police galore, and residents say
the media has little autonomy. |

| The
Wild, Wild West (Coast of New Zealand) - Before hitting the black sand
I stopped to admire the warning signs posted everywhere! Strong rip currents,
unstable cliffs, and dangerous swimming signs were at every entrance. Two
orange and red flags were positioned on the beach and swimmers were instructed
to only swim between the flags to keep the rescues easier to spot. (My
first day there had over 20 rescues.) I was tired, and jet lagged so maybe
I would just dip my toes today. Swimming and surfing could wait. |
