Want To Know More? Here's
the Blaa blab blab
|
Okay. We
admit that our eMagazine is not something your mother would approve
of. She wants you to go to school, get a good job in
America and shut off your brain. The very idea of something called
'Escape From America' is abhorrent. After all why are all
them foreigners trying to get into America if it's a bad
place?
Don't argue with your
mother, it will create bad karma. She may not know the facts, but
she's still your mother. The fact that everyone with a brain
is moving overseas is not her concern... her concern is that you be
normal just like everyone else; settle down, raise kids, send them
to American schools where they'll machine gun each other with
Uzi's, get into Goth, use crack, cut themselves and live a normal
American life. Won't it be fun?
Hey, if you've survived,
and you want some options other than the tried and trashed, then
consider our Zine. First of all it's free, second it's
outrageously good, third it's filled with ideas and
content.
Ideas:
i·de·a –noun - 1) Something, such as a thought or
conception, that potentially or actually exists in the mind as a
product, abstraction, concept, inference, fantasy, proposal,
theory, or well-designed blueprint of future reality. 2) A
creation, or formation, of a concept out of two or more
units of the same (similar) class of observed phenomena
within our field of perception. (See: Thinking, thought,
awareness, reality, consciousness, intelligence,
logic)
Content:
[kon-tent]
–noun - substantive information or creative material viewed
in contrast to its actual or potential manner of presentation:
publishers, media, record companies, and other content providers;
most web sites are flashy, but don't have much content; or,
conversely; this is a brilliant web site, with an amazing amount of
content. |

If you want to find out
how to live overseas, where to live overseas, where to find
employment overseas, where to find real estate overseas, how to
live an international lifestyle and how to move your cash and your
life offshore; then do subscribe to our eZine. Over 350,000
people already have, and you need to find out
why. However, before you subscribe we have a confession, just
so you know what kind of liars we are when we're trying to be
convincing. We used to think that your mother wasn't a subscriber
until we were presented with the stunning manuscript of
Chronicles of the Jungle Mom, the true story about an expat
mom who goes to live with her children in the jungles of Costa
Rica... It is clear to us that mothers are made out of
sterner stuff than they used to be. We admit that we no
longer know who the enemy is; but we do know who our heroes and
heroines are, and you are they. Live where you want, live how
you want, and make money doing it. Our zine is the guidebook,
you, when you know what you're doing, are our guides. This
isn't a Blog, it's a website, and a magazine that shows you how to
live wherever you want.
Are we iconoclast,
risqué, irreverent, politically incorrect, outrageous,
provocative, and willing to take risks? No, actually we're
kind of like the cold oatmeal that George Bush eats before every
speech. Is he leaning on a bar in a tavern when he talks or
does it just look like he's leaning on a bar in a
tavern? Hallelujah, George, you've been good for our
website, our numbers have quadrupled since you've thugged your way
into office. Americans are starting to swim the Rio Grande
going south... (once they get past the volunteer "Minutemen"
guarding Arizona's Mexican border.) Talk about
irony.
Is it going to start
getting difficult to get out? Of course not.... well,
soon they won't let you take your children out of America, got to
protect them from A-Rabs, won't let you get more than a 30 day exit
visa, too many terrorists have been moving overseas and taking
their money with them... and soon they won't let you take
your assets. When it happens, and it will; those who
read Escape From America Magazine will be long gone.
How about you? Waiting for the Kristallnacht? We'll try
not to get too serious on this slightly capricious page, it is
after all designed to be mirthful. You on other hand, while
enjoying the mirth might try to remember not wait too long in
getting a second passport.

Okay, we're
Guru's. We know the route. We live offshore. Our
writers are out there now, living on coffee plantations in Costa
Rica, teaching school in Bangkok, living in old mansions on the
coast of Panama, remodeling old farm houses in the south of France,
selling real estate in Budapest, running dive shops in Belize, freezing their buns off in Antarctica,
starting a vineyard in New Zealand and living the kind of life that
others only dream about.... what are you doing and why
are you doing it?
Online since 1998, Escape
From America Magazine is free to subscribe, you can unsubscribe
anytime, we don't sell email addresses and we never spam,
period.
Escape From America
Magazine is supplemented by our Offshore Real Estate Update. The
articles in our Zines are written by both professional and amateur
writers. Those who have been there and done it are encouraged
to submit articles even if they aren't professional writers.
We look at it as our job to keep you informed as to how to find
expat havens, artists havens, offshore enclaves and expat
contacts. We show you how to find the best spots, how to get
there and how to land there on your feet so you don't have to take
the next boat back. Eight years we've been at this; it's our
turf, and we welcome you.... as your Guru's, we invite you to
become our Guru.
