| We Want Your Article
On Caribbean Lifestyles
We
are constantly on the lookout for new articles on Caribbean Real Estate,
Living in the Caribbean, Investing in the Caribbean, Traveling in the Caribbean
and other Caribbean Lifestyle subjects; and and we welcome your article
proposal - put your article proposal in the form below
and we'll give it our full consideration.
Do we pay you for your articles?
Some contributing authors want to
be paid for their articles, while other authors submit their articles with
the intention of drawing attention to their subject. In the later
case we provide prominent links back to the authors website, and in some
cases, for repeat contributors, we provide a banner.
Payment
We will pay $200 for articles of
approximately 3,000 words or more in length. Articles should be accompanied
by .jpg / .jpeg images, especially if those images are necessary to explain
the underlying concept of your article. Images should not be imbedded
inside a word doc., but should be sent as separate attachments. Articles
must be send as a standard electronic word document. You will
be supplied with further instructions if we accept your article proposal. |

| Contributed Articles
(Articles Submitted Not For Pay)
Many of our authors contribute articles
on subjects to draw attention to their subject; such as a little-known
real estate enclave, an experience purchasing international real estate
they'd like to share with others, or on their service that applies to real
estate in the Caribbean. (Including nations that border on the Caribbean)
Many of our contributing authors have gone on to develope businesses out
of their expertice in knowing about an enclave, helping others to buy real
estate there (hence making a profit from their expertice), and even written
eBooks about their subject when they realized the level of interest that
their articles engendered. That is not to say that we accept any
articles which are pure promotion. An article must provide real information,
with contacts and resources that are usable by the reader to understand
and act on. Readers, no matter how well informed by an article, will
still seek experienced help in relocating to and/or purchasing real estate
in a remote location. |

| We Are Seeking Articles On Other
Subjects
Please
take note that we are also seeking articles on how to make a living offshore
and how to invest offshore, including within tightly scrutinized guidelines,
tax haven type offshore investments. We seek the unusual - - There
are no subjects we consider too far ranging - Our Caribbean Property Magazine
was started in 1996 as a hard copy magazine. It closed down as a
hardcopy magazine in 2001 due to health reasons on the part of the original
publisher. The website was transferred to First Antilles Inc. (The
owner of EscapeArtist.com) at that time and has continued to function as
a Caribbean Property resource. We have recently placed the Caribbean
Property Magazine back online as an eMagazine (February 2007) and we are
actively soliciting articles about investing, retiring, living and visiting
the Caribbean and those nations that border on the Caribbean.
Other Subjects?
Q: What do we mean by Other
Subjects?
A: What we mean by other subjects
could be summed up by the following subjects: How to open a business in
Dominica, how to buy an island in Belize and turn it into a bread &
breakfast, how to open an expat relocation service in Panama, start a farm
in Costa Rica, run an internet business out of the Dominican Republic,
bank in the Cayman Islands, and so on. In many of these cases one
can use the article to draw attention to their business. For instance,
someone who writes an article on buying an island and turning it into a
bread & breakfast is obviously going to get a large number of paying
visitors out of the article - (our high traffic level and large subscription
base guarantee a wide range of readership and article response) Add to
that the fact that we leave our articles online perpetually, so that your
article written today, will still be here tomorrow. The original
issue of our Escape From America eZine published seven years ago
is still posted on our website, and it still gets traffic today from millions
of online surfers seeking information on real estate overseas, investing
overseas and on living overseas. Contributing an article to us has made
some contributors famous as authorities on the subjects that they wrote
about. Of course, you still have to know your subject, those who
provide bogus information are quickly found out and their articles are
removed from our website.
Also note, that if your article based
on drawing attention to your subject, such as the Island Bed & Breakfast
scenario described above, then it behoves you to submit your article proposal
as a Not For Pay submission. It will increase you chances of having
your proposal accepted and it will be more effective at bringing traffic
to your website or service. The Not For Pay articles include
a contact area that explains and promotes your subject
See
an example - The For Pay authors pages do not include
a promotional contact area. |

We Also Want Articles On International
(Offshore) Investments
Yes, we write about and we feature
articles and information on other forms of offshore investment. But
our emphasis has always been on real estate. Why is that? Because
we view offshore real estate not just as an excellent investment, but just
as important in our view, as a modality for attaining an offshore survival
retreat for yourself and your family. Our philosophy has been consistent
from the start.... and we continue to stand by it. ...and for
good reason. Over 1.5 million visitors turn to us each month as the resource
for finding international real estate and as the authority on the what,
why, where and how of locating an overseas safe haven.
Our online articles; available free
to everyone; have become the backbone of our website.

and your insights can be very valuable to others - even if you aren't a
professional writer.

be exactly the information our readers are looking for.
