citizenships and their attendant passports offer many advantages to people.
I have over 200 clients who would say it is the best money they ever spent.
Their citizenships are an integral part of a larger workable tax strategy.
They enjoy the freedom to travel when and where they wish without significant
hassles. In the global marketplace, this gives them a distinct advantage

Good Morning,
This Is Your Wake-Up Call - Immigration
& Citizenship Strategies For A Post September 11 World - This trend,
which has been underway for the past few years thanks to increased co-operation
between governments and initiatives of international organizations, has
increased its momentum and justification after September 11th. The implementation
of the Qualified Intermediary regime in 2000, the passing of the USA Patriot
Act in late 2001, and the recent offshore credit card record requests by
the IRS, mean the US is aggressively leading the way in scrutinizing all
domestic and international financial trans-actions of its taxpayers. ~

You May Be A Member Of The American Family ~
...And Your Long Lost Uncle Sam Wants You --- And Your Taxes! ~ By
David S. Lesperance - If you are a US Citizen living outside
the US then the US government is looking for you and your tax-dollars.
The US government has become more aggressive in finding US citizens who
have moved offshore to escape high taxes. This aggressive policy towards
tax collection is part of Washington's new war on terrorism which is demanding
great government resources. Your dollars will go to pay for homeland security
and more police who will be pursuing a policy of eroding individual rights
and liberities. Look out! Dec./02 |

Is It Time
To Get Out Of Dodge City? - Immigration
and citizenship strategies for Americans - in a post-September
11th world - Current U.S. government policy states that an individual who
is becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen is not required to renounce their
existing citizenship. Furthermore, an American citizen who is becoming
naturalized in a foreign state does not automatically lose their U.S. citizenship.
You can use the foreign naturalization as a method of relinquishing U.S.
citizenship (as part of a tax expatriation plan), but this must be done
very carefully and with an overwhelming demonstration of the intent to
lose American citizenship. This has not always been the American government's
position, so prior presumed or proven loss of foreign or U.S. citizenship
must be re-examined in light of this current policy. April/02
