La Angelita Livestock Ranch is a rural enterprise located in the eastern portion of Mendoza Province, along the boundary with San Luis Province, in the area known as “La Horqueta”.
“La Angelita” is a 10,000 hectare enterprise (about 24,700 acres).
The whole enterprise is wire fenced around the perimeter and it is internally divided into six grazing fields or pasture grounds and two small squares or mattocks.
Location and Access Roads
National Route # 146 is all paved with access to the property. The enterprise is located betwen San Luis City and San Rafael town.
These two cities both have airports with daily flights to/from Buenos Aires and some other places in the country. By this highway you can be connected with San Luis City to the East; with San Rafael Town to the Northwest; to Mendoza City to the North and to the San Luis and La Pampa regions to the Southeast, and connect with National Route # 188, giving principal access to the Federal Capital, Buenos Aires.

Enterprise Particulars
A principal house, new, made of bricks, with green zinc roof. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen-dining room, and a wide corridor with brick floor. It also has a fireplace. Next to the house there is a small apartment, with a bedroom and a bathroom.

Animal Quality and Adapted Breeds
Due to climate and natural pastures for grazing, the animals stay very healthy. The breeds raised are Aberdeen Angus and Hereford, and the calves born here are of excellent quality, having been sold at Liniers and other markets at the best prices.
It is one of the very few Mendoza enterprises that has sold cattle at Liniers Market, in Buenos Aires, due to the excellent quality of its animals. As a consequence of its sustained quality it was incorporated into the group that obtained the Hilton quota for Mendoza, led by Alberto Lasmartres.
In May 2006, got the first prize at the National Arid Zones Cattle Raising Fair, held in General Alvear, Mendoza, in the category “industrial cross female calf”, that is the cross calf between Aberdeen Angus and Hereford ( known as “caretas”), produced at this enterprise.
It is a fully developed land area, working at full capacity, with all of the necessary structure to be utilized economically.
